Hello friends, my name is Alex, the artist and owner behind the shop Alex n Crafts! Each day I remind myself to see the good in everything - I feel that my art is a playfully illustrative and sometimes abstract extension of myself interpreting the humanity, humor, and love that surrounds me! I enjoy making custom orders and art for people of all ages, so please message me for any commission requests or questions you have :)
My process for creating art depends on 5 core elements that are essential and present in all of my pieces which are:
- Colors: Funky, bold, bright colors that are dynamic to energy and mood
- Textures: Raw and loose textures that gesture movement that speaks beyond the page
- Niche Pop Culture: References to various figures in movies, music, television, etc.
- Florals: Beauty found within everyday nature
- Inspirational Calligraphy: Motivational words that advocate connection and self-love
